Yannis Labdaoui is a director from the eastern suburbs of Paris. He studied economics before turning to a creative profession.

Cédric and Yannis form a duo of artists driven by the same direction: the portrait as a way of revealing those who create. It is an approach, a standard, a way of seeing that we build together and that goes beyond each of us. Rocabella is its natural extension, through its setting, the artists who will live there and the diversity of media that will cross paths there. The residency offers this research a field of rare richness. That is where, for us, the value of this time lies: placing our two gazes, for a season, at the service of those who create.
