Robin Larroque

Bio

Robin is an actor and director whose career moves between performance and filmmaking, always guided by a fascination with nature and human connections. Born into a family of winegrowers, he carries from his childhood a sensitive eye for those who shape their environment — a thread that runs through his entire cinematic approach.

After studying editing and gaining experience as a directing assistant, he moved to London, where he became a production manager for Partisan and a freelance editor. His return to France, marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, also marked his transition to directing with his first short fiction film, Déviantes.

Alongside this, Robin has continued his acting career, appearing in several short and feature films before joining the conservatoire of the 20th arrondissement of Paris, where he trained in theatre, singing, and contemporary dance. Passionate about film distribution, he also works as a projectionist in several cinemas across Seine-Saint-Denis, cultivating a deep relationship with the image — at once in front of, behind, and beside the screen.
